This past week at Musicar Northwest we had the opportunity to integrate a high-performance radar/laser system into a Jet Black Metallic Spyder. This car has so much visual appeal that we wanted to make sure the counter measures didn't detract from Porsche's design language.
We used a BEL STiR+ for the built-in radar detection, and a system from Anti-Laser Priority for laser jamming. Most of the system is hidden, but here is what you can see when it's all done.
Controllers: Both flushed into a custom panel built into the smoker's package.
Display: The BEL display was integrated into a hand-fabricated acrylic window made to replace the "Spyder" badge behind the shifter.
Laser Heads: The laser receivers/jammers are integrated into custom-made composite housings that are built to blend with the car.
