Default Welp, tried to trade in the 996, failed

Fell in love with a track-prepped monster and tried to do a straight trade, but the other party said "996? Eew. No."

Bummer - it was not easy to walk away from this peach...

Notice amazing features like the draped-canvas cabriolet top, hand-hammered fender flares, serious bidness wing, manually-applied simulated "barn-find" paint, and - hard to see from this angle - the TRD badging on the trunk. I'm bummed I missed out on what I can only assume is a Toyota factory-prepped track car.

I think I totally would have fit into the nitrous thread if I could have made this deal happen.

I tried the same thing for this beauty. They were like, "99 996? D-Chunk, no way."

You would've had a successful trade if you had the taco on there.

No one wants a frankenstein 996(unless it has a lsx. )

Hey hey, now...I may not have a taco spoiler, but I have an aftermarket plenum that should be worth an extra 80-90 HP.

I checked, and it's actually a fully-functional fart canNON - it can launch a fart at just less than supersonic speed down any street. Very impressive piece of hardware.

It's also a safety feature - when you jump on the throttle in that car, everyone around you immediately knows you are attempting to accelerate; they'll have a solid 10-second window to move over so one can begin working on overtaking.
