Hmmm...do you need a gt4 just for dyno purposes? I'm in Austin and may be willing to help

If interested Please PM me with more details of what is involved.

Just ordered the 100mm(4 inch) single-waleed tips in the X-pipe configuration from Fabspeed for the OEM Muffler. Will have them Ceramic coated satin black when they arrive

Pretty stoked - they will look awesome. Will post pictures when installed. I think this is a new project for them so could take a couple weeks

Maybe John at Fabspeed can post some pictures on this thread before he ships them. They will be pre-coated becuae I am sending them out myself to have them done

Update - I went a different route. The 100 mm tips where all planned before I received my GT4. After a couple days driving her I decided she needed more GROWL. So, I pulled the trigger on the FVD Valveless Sound Version(non TUV) exhaust. They come with their own 90 mm tips and the Fabspeed may not fit. The exhaust showed up over the weekend which I will see when I get home tonight and I will measure the pipes and get with Fabspeed to confirm if their tips will fit. I went with FVD because I wanted to go valveless, shed ~ 25lbs, and less expensive than an after market exhaust with valves. The Fabspeed Valvetronic exhaust was my second choice w/o a doubt.

Here is a look at the tips and the Sport headers(Long tube for certain) that I received from FVD. All have been sent out to be coated. Almost a shame to cover these beauts. The rest of the Sport exhaust (Sound version-valveless)looks like a masterpiece but I only unwrapped one half and put them back to rest until installation time. I was surprised by the size of the pipes for the exhaust and maybe you can tell on the "X"-pipe. They are large in diameter. But - all-in-all- everything pretty light and very well-made. This car will sound Epic when I get it all installed in about 3-4 weeks. Tune also going on in about 2-3 weeks.

Great news. The Tips are done and shipping tomorrow. Nice Satin Black.

The Sport Headers were shipped from Swain this afternoon. Should have Fri/Sat.

Now need to schedule Install. I think may try to get done before July 4th weekend. I just do not like rushing things.

I do not know if I should just do the headers and exhaust next week since I only have 650 miles and wait another month before installing tune and TB/Plenum. What do you all think??? I also would like to do it in stages to see if I can tell the difference on each stage. Do you think I will have any issues with just the exhaust and Sport headers installed??.. I also wonder if I will throw a CEL because FVD has said it is slightly possible because they had a couple thrown but they could not completely attribute it to the Headers because other things were manipulated.

Has any one installed a tune with a Lithium battery in your Porsche??

The reason is I heard these tunes can really drain your battery while copying file to be sent out and also installing the new tune. I have been hesitant to put in the Braille Lithium until I install the tune.

Any advice welcomed
