Cage is being built... BGB is doing the work. Should be done by end of the week. I'll have more photos after painted.

Well, I went all out and did it all... 4.5 months elapsed time.

Just did a test last weekend at a local LE test track.. Ran like a champ!

Only things left are to get another set of tires/wheels, add a brake pressure sensor, and a smaller battery.

Had my first event with the car last weekend. Was a learning experience and balance is very different than the GT3s I've been driving for the past 5 years.

Car needed some setup changes during my first session and I ran out of talent in one of the turns - fortunately at no expense. Still don't know why the rear just snapped out without throttle input. Ended up increasing rebound stiffness one click and stiffening front sway bar, which balanced the car out. I need to adjust the way I recover from over steer.

Overall it was a LOT of fun and different than the GT3.

Much to learn. Heading to Sebring with Chin next month.

Here is some video from the session and a couple pics.

It has taken me since March, so around 5.5 months of coordination. From gutting the interior and removing the wiring harness, getting cage installed, painted, reinstall harness, interior bits, and then the real work.

I did around 65% of it myself. Left the heavy lifting for the pros. Diff, flywheel, clutch, headers, exhaust, alignment, 3rd radiator, suspension setup, fire suppression, AIM MXL2 connection to CAN bus, and a few other items.

Overall was a fun project that required a lot of patience. The dive planes are not GTB1 spec as of now. Before this car can be raced, those would need to come off.
