Hey guys,
I recently bought a set of OHLINS shocks, they are made for 996 C2 and fit my car but came without the springs.
I use my car as a daily driver but also track the car at rennsport regional events in Mont Tremblant every month and sometimes St-Eustache lapping as well.
So i am looking to find a balance for this hybrid use and know nothing about spring rate and such suspension specifications...
From what I read, I need 8'' & 12'', 2.250'', still debating on getting helper spring or not.
If anybody can give me a little help it would be appreciated!
Thanks!!

I upgraded my suspension incrementally. Apart from it being easier on the wallet, it was nice to feel how much each individual component contributed to the improved handling of my car.

As for Mont Tremblant, I would just be cautious and make sure you're not over-sprung on that track as I know it has a couple bumps that have been known to upset a lot of cars mid-corner that are stiffly sprung.
~550F and ~700R seems to be a good street/track combo.
If more serious and doing quite a few track events then 700/900.
Most hardcore will be closer to 800/1000.
This is just a general reference from recent trends.

Thanks for your input ^^
Since I am driving the car almost everyday on our DISASTROUS roads, I don't think i can go very stiff unfortunately... So the cup setup will definitely be too much for my use. 550F is what I read and the rear varies 700-850.. Hmm
Yes that is a good point, although some parts are necessary for the install, like top plates/camber plates and drop links that didnt come with my shocks.

In contrast, stock 996 GT3 spring rates are 228 lb/in (40N/mm) front, 543 lb/in (95N/mm) rear (which I find brutal in and around Montreal).
