Smile NEW OLD STOCK, TURBO TWIST 996 replica wheels NEW IN THE BOXES NOS 18"

Going through the warehouse we came upon this set, let us know...

996 Turbo Twist replica ITALY made wheels Rennlist price: $1199 + ship

This is a set of "no longer made" ITALY replica wheels, this set is NEW IN THE BOX, we no longer sell these and they were tucked away for a few years and almost forgotten about.

Our find is your gain on this set, these are NOT hollow by design and would make a great second set for snow or a good replacement set at a great price for NEW wheels.

18x8.5 (et. 40) & 18x11 (et. 45)

This is the last set, once it is sold we will NOT get anymore since the manufacture in ITALY no longer manufactures this wheel. We also offer custom finishing if you would like to so something different.

Because we were not the direct importer I don't have that bit of information (who manufactured these wheels). Long ago we used to sell lots of OEM replica wheels and the majority of them came through one of our local suppliers who is no longer is in the business.

Sorry we couldn't help you with this information,

Thank you for the information. My main concern is NOT that they're replicas, but that they are made by a well-established company with the highest possible manufacturing standards and not like some cheap China knock-offs.

I had a set of Italian made replicas for my 996 C4S. I don't recall the manufacturer, but they were stamped "Made in Italy" inside the wheel.

Hey Dennis,

How did they work out for you? Did they perform well at higher speeds? Any balancing issues?

I had no issues at all. They performed as you would expect an OE wheel to perform.

Seems these days there are replica everything in the world made from Rolex watches, Nike shoes, Levis jeans, Montblanc pens to Beats by Dre.

This supplier was one of the largest Porsche replica suppliers at the time, they closed down over 5-years back.

Plus, i really don't think WD would be associated with another dealer if they weren't producing legit products of the highest quality

When these guys were in business we were happy to sell their products, however when they went out of business we pretty much discounted offering oem replica wheels since most of what was coming in was from China and a lot of those wheels are unregulated and are kind of in a grey area unless you know the true source and have had the opportunity to weed out the bad ones.

If that same company were up and running today we would be offering a full line of OEM replicas today.
