Not the best picture, but I finally found a low-mileage, one-owner 2009 base Boxster and pulled the trigger. The car has 22,700 miles, has a complete service record, PDK, heated/ventilated seats, sound package plus, windstop, automatic climate control, storage box, bluetooth, floor mats, universal audio interface, and 18" Boxster S II wheels (unfortunately, that have been chromed by the original owner.)

I'm going to have the wheels refinished, but otherwise the car is just what I wanted.

It's a nice drive and looking forward to some mild, sunny days and backroads.

OZ Racing makes some nice lightweight wheels that are reasonably priced (Tirerack). Maybe you could sell the chrome wheels that you have or use them for running winter tires.

Very nice. And I agree with you on the wheels. Don't know why people chrome wheels on a late model Porsche.

Congratulations. Yeah, losing the chrome would help. :-)

Wheels are at refinisher now. I wish I had the time to get the calipers addressed while the wheels are off, but that will be another project for another time.

Welcome to the club itsboz! Great find and great colour. You are going to have a ton o' fun in this car, most likely very different than anything else you may have had. It is a car you can push into the corners very very hard. It's really quite remarkable. Enjoy. Lots of expertise here in the this Forum for you too should you run into mechanical issues.
