I simply think it's awesome because the owner can.... And the contrasting symbols... The badass 918 and Hello Kitty....

P.S. I can't make out the decal on the 918; any hints?!
Thanks David! Maybe timing will work out better next time to meet up?

I noticed your sig, nice bike as well as Porsche. I bike ride a lot too. Just got a Specialized Epic Expert last year. My first 29er! Amazing bike! The efficiency on these 29er's are amazing!

Are you implying Hello Kitty is not badass?

Took the 911 out for a proper photo shoot after the showers ended. The overcast skies really brought out the depth of the GT Silver.

Miss my GT Silver car. Honestly, it was the most beautiful paint on any car I've ever owned. Photos can never do it full justice. IMHO, it's really the best color for a modern 911. Years from now, we will marvel at how good cars from this era look, because they are GT Silver. I hope Porsche will always offer it. Congrats. Enjoy in the best of health.

Sup?

OP, which interior 12V are you referring to? The cig lighter switches off after 15 or 20 min. I forgot which of those it is.

Good to know. Is that on the same timer as trunk light?

Trans ''clunk'': Might actually be motor or trans mounts needing replacement.

Frunk open: Press the key fob button to lock the doors. Frunk light goes off in something like 20 mins instead of two hours.

12V power: Always on is least of your concerns. Car comp drains batteries quickly regardless. If driving sporadically with week plus between drives, consider a battery tender. Really needed if going 2-3 weeks between stints.

About the 12V power, you noted least of my concerns but it drains quickly? I assume you meant, 12v is on timer and if left undriven, leave on a battery tender? Thanks for the info. Tender is already hooked up.

I think my initial description of the transmission has a clunk isn't accurate. It's the sound the shift cables. I haven't driven a manual trans. car for a while so those are new sounds again. Perhaps better described as sounds or noise when shifting. Also, when cold, it's doesn't shift as smooth but I assume that's fairly normal?

The car is solid and no clunking from mounts. Winding up the rev's feels incredible. The variocam is incredible This is by car the most solid car I've even driven. It's almost like you have to drive this car fast.. the faster you drive the better it feels.

What tire do you have now? You said earlier that the front are still original which means they are 10 years old. That's over due for a refresh.

My flight attentand gave me a Hello Kitty band aid for a boo Boo on my finger. First person to see it said, "Oh Hell Yea, I take it you saw Deadpool!" It was beyond awesome that I got his reference.

Nice car in classic GT silver OP. You will enjoy her.

Yes, tires replaced. Installed Bridgestone S-04's in OEM size. The original rubber, P-zero's, showed minimal drying or cracking for a 10 year old tire. The rears were quite noisy.

The good, tire wear was very even front and rear. The rears showed very slight camber wear but I suspect that's within spec. The new tires, S04's, ride so much better. Perhaps that's due to age as the rubber was getting hard? I can only imagine being awed again once the S04's are broken in. I was impressed with the P-zero's already.
