Hi gang,

I've long admired the 928 ..... And I'll be darned, one of the neighbors on my block has a lovely 928GTS tucked away in his garage.....

Alas, I have not the space nor martial latitude for another toy car here in my cramped fair city .... But I can certainly dream, n'est-ce pas?

I've admired Paul's work for a long long time now ..... This is the year I've decided to bring the 928's incredible interior inspiration to my little Carrera. The 993 has many nice qualities. A rich interior experience is not one of them. I'm astounded at the result of Paul's work - the 928 community truly has a special special gem in Paul.

Thanks guys. I've read nearly all of Paul's old posts here and I too wish some day he will return - perhaps when he finds a good balance of leather crafting and entertainment.

I do plan to do the driver's seat --- I have it in my garage --- I'm just an awfully slow mechanic. Usually because I'll do something and then discover that I did something incredibly stupid which forces me to do the job all over again to correct my mistake. Never fails.

Like --- installing a seat, only to forget to install the seatbelt covers, which forces me to pull the seat out again.

Or installing a new handbrake and buttoning up the center console, only to realize that I installed jam-nut on the handbrake tensioning mechanism improperly, forcing me to take everything apart again.

Anyways, I installed Paul's beautiful center console / handbrake / **** today ---- I'll get to the driver's seat in due time.

Congratulations! Looks like you're doing a nice installation.

Paul is crafting my new front seats covers as we speak, matching the pearl white finish to my rear seats.

Yours look sumptuous. I can almost smell the new leather...

thank you - if you are using the Italian leather then I find that not only is the smell fantastic, the soft hand of the italian stuff adds a tactile experience to be appreciated. Are yours all white w contrasting stitching?

I installed this piece finally last nice ... From Linda, Paul's wife.

That's a beautiful steering wheel cover.

My seats are all pearl white, a soft white color with an iridescence in the finish. It was the original custom order in my car that Paul is matching. I am going with piping, and without any contrasting stitching in order to more closely match the original rear seats which are pretty much like new. Paul is also redoing my door inserts to match.
