Sorry, forgot to address the fender edge beading question- Short answer is that it's the original stuff from the car, just cleaned up. Is the sealing strap on the PET diagram (801-25) that beading material, or is it the strip-caulk stuff that seals the fender to the body?
I can take better measurements if the dimensions would be helpful to find a replicate.

Speaking of which- we decided to swap condensers back to the proper early round-tube style. Mark brought a couple candidates last night, all are subtly different. Two bare aluminum and one painted black. The two aluminum ones differ in the aluminum channel riveted to the top- one is 'U' shaped (like a cap), while the other is 'S' shaped, the forward lip of the channel points down and the rear points up.
You guys are going to owe me a new car cover...I've about wore the thing out taking it on and off for photo shoots...lol.

I'm amazed that you got the beading off Minerva without destroying it, and then were able to recondition it and make it look like new!
