Finally I have a 928!

55mm shaftless throttle bodies from AT Power in the UK. Will be used for the 7.0 liter 32V engine. Shaftless design for extended air flow.

Crappy picture and no doubt was breathing in too many fumes but the 928 looked as though it should fly.

Found a small leak looks to be the hose from the reservoir to the pump at the hose clamp. Tightened and cleaned it so we will see. Other cars are set for the season I can't believe it has been 5 years time for a through fluid change, coolant flush and belt inspection. Wheels are getting fresh MPS2's.

Plan on doing some driving this year.

So I had the first real drive in the 928 in over a year. Went to the local C&C early AM and I couldn't get away from the car. I was immediately greeted and the attention was huge. It was like showing up with the latest creation and not a 23 year old 928.

The new power steering hose made the car feel better than ever. Drove like new with fresh rubber and all fresh fluids.

Went for a drive in the country and ended up doing the Easter visit of my wife's late family. I know the picture is not your typical setting and a bit morbid but they are buried behind the late great Mark Donahue so I took a picture and the car looked so good I decided to post it. I love that the kids come by ever year and leave model cars all over his grave.

Anything that brings you closer to your family, one way or another, is Cool.

For me it has been trips to the 'Ring. Bizarrely my mum forced the issue by insisting that I invited her and my dad after my regular tales of the annual adventure.

Now they have been more times than some of my PetrolHead mates.

This video is with my mum in my other car, but our conversation is hardly any different to when we were in the 928. (I have lost the footage of me and my mum in the 928 sadly )
