16x7 phone dials went onto my late 86 a couple weeks ago, and today I finished some repairs and put the car back on the road. They are chrome, and I think maybe a little too flashy for me, but they're perfect for now, and were cheap and local. They were not an easy fit. The fronts touched the big brakes without tiny spacers. In the rear, the PO had cut down the stock studs, so I put non-stock (but same size) spacers on and then phonedials touched the nuts for the spacers - barely. I used a dremel grinding wheel to remove about 1/1000000th of an inch from a couple spots and then they fit. She needs a bath tomorrow
Paused the "cleaning" process and threw on some wheels and dropped the car down off the lift bars and went for a ride, felt great!! No snow anywhere in Boston area...very unusual this time of year, not complaining ...
