Default Oil change?

I do my own service. Very satisfying experience. As minimum you need a floor jack, a pan and 10L of quality oil and filter.
Drop me a message and I can help you.

That's really nice of you Rod!

Edit:
Didn't mean to invite myself, don't get me wrong. All I say is that's a very generous offer.

Default Super Generous

Thanks Rod.

I have a oil change booked for May 9th with Alpine and ill kinda see how they do it...but perhaps for the second one I could take you up on your offer...of course make it worth your while too as I would not come empty handed. Where abouts are you in the city...Im in the far NW.

Im still debating the canadian mobil 1 0W-40...vs the purple lubrimoly>>>

Any thoughts anyone?

Oil filters from Pelican Parts (Mahle) or Amsoil (Mann), both high quality.
I am not a big fan of M1. Lubro Moly, Motul, Total 9000, even Amsoil Euro is fine. I really like Motul.

Pelican for the Filters and washers(and most other stuff). Griots to make it all look good.

Don't overlook SouthCenter. I've had them do mine and they did a great job, on time, on budget couldn't really ask for more.

Now Rod, how about an oilchange party day at your place....next spring we'll all change oil!

I realize that adding my 3.5 cents on this is a bit premature but I would be happy to be a part of an oil change evening.

You guys get free labour (well, prairie lube is required...) and I get to learn so that when I finally get my first Porsche, I'm goodtogo.

Then, my garage will be home to the next night of talking P-car and nothing but P-car. Well, that and hockey, girls, more hockey...

Well, now the ideas are starting to make sense. I think there is something to this. We should organize some kind of a get-together either way.

I do too - let's keep this thread moving and have everyone weigh in and then pick a place and a day.

I'll bring the first flat...
