Race the BASE (Cold Lake AB)
Race the Base (drive your car on the Cold Lake Air Force Base in Alberta).

It is rather tempting, but a few reasons keep me from signing up:
1) I am not sure I want to spend the money (add it all up and it will be more than $1500).
2) My car is only a '97 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 and it will not go 300 kph.
3) I would like to know how fast my car can go, but I do drive it at my local race track on track days and in less than one week I will be screaming down the straight at 210 kph and it will cost me much less than the money for this Cold Lake AB event. Do I really need to spend the big bucks to squeeze out an extra 40-50 clicks?
But it would be cool to see all the nifty neat-o cars at the event.
Is anyone going?

$899 or lower and I'd be all over that...but $1500? Not worth it.
The Parry Sound Sportbike rally in Ontario has a radar run day on the local airport for $75. I had my R6 up to 238 on there...and it's a short runway. (this was back in 2002 mind you...)
Photos with the jets would be cool...but not cool enough for me to drop that much $$$
