Default #61 takes it's first breath of the season!

The day has finally arrived, the re-birth of ol #61 is complete. We spanked the engines' butt and it responded with a loud, strong scream. As with any first fire, it is an anxious moment, but all went smoothly with no issues or snap crackle pop, just smooth music for our ears. The first drive was an eye opener, I believe I am going to like this engine A LOT!

A big thank you to Flat6 Innovations for building this 3.6 jewel of an engine, smooth, free revving, with lots of torque, kinda like a great swiss watch. Oh the sound... well you'll just have to come to the track... it's awesome
Another big thank you to Andrew at WeTune, for a flawless removal and install, tuning, welding and guidance in the whole process. You made this a fun journey.
Now the break-in process begins....Moohaa

Thanks Sergio, I'll be at spring shakedown, to watch you break-in your race car. Aah, spring is here at last.

Great news Stan. I guess you won't need a ride to the track on Monday? I assume you will use the drive as a part of Jake's recommended break in procedure?
