996 (Boxster etc) and later jacking "pucks" for sale (2)
Yes you can use a hockey puck. A block of wood. A rolled up pair of old socks.
The new ride is quite a bit lower than the 993, and I was struggling to barely fit/position a hockey puck under the jacking points even with a low profile jack.
Ordered a set of 4 jacking-pucks with the oblong top machined in from a solid piece, custom made by a fellow Rennlist member.
Really trick - just insert in the hole and rotate 90 degrees. Plus these are machined from high quality delrin so will not mar the finish. Tried them today and these are a no brainer.
I don't need 4, so will sell 2 of them at cost of $25 CAD each. Let me know if any interest, I will have them with me at the track for the LCMT RSR events balance of season.
