Thanks Alain!
Gotta love this guy Alain Serhan!
He helped along with Pierre from Prestige Porsche to remove my bad battery from my car at the track while I was with my Greenie, put it in his ManCar trunk, took me shopping for a new battery and bought me lunch.
As appalled as we both were with local battery prices, (I bought one in St-Jovite/Mont Tremblant), Alain was I am quite sure, ready to drive me to Costco in Saint Jerome to pay a "reasonable price", birds of a feather!
Thank you Pierre from Prestige Porsche, and especially Alain, very cool!

That's nice of him! After I left the track my car died due to the alternator dying earlier in the day and i didn't notice. I also had to go to the CT near tremblant and paid 200$ for an eliminator battery. Luckily there was enough charge to get me to my garage in VSL. I'm sure the 200$ battery was cheaper than a tow from Tremblant though.
I saw your 996..looks great!!

Never mind this Alain guy, whom I don't know and never heard of.
One should see how helpful Ken is when jumping out one one student's car into the next, only to continue his always cool delivery of instructions.

Speaking of this Alain guy ...
Thank you Alain for graciously lending me your MSD coil out of your 944 for the weekend !
Five 25 minute races at Mosport this weekend and the car ran perfectly, with 40 cars on track at the same time with the combined G70 and G90 groups ... what a rush !!!
I wouldn't have been able to dyno the car last Wednesday without your coil as mine was misfiring
and i left for Mosport very early Thursday morning and made it for the test day.
You're the best
Phil

It is not about the cars, it's about the people in Rennsport. Rennsporters exemplify the pay it forward theory. If you are unsure, here are some more examples; During the last DE and a member complained about the lack of handling and braking, only to find out the front pads were done, so Alex from Lauzon offerred some new pads, another member offerred a free set of spare used pads, I did the pad change all good. My next session, really heavy rain and my driver side wiper arm popped off on the back straight, nearly needed that diaper;-)) then along comes Alex from Lauzon with the 13 mm key and all was good for the next couple of sessions and the drive home.
