Trying this one more time...Just wondering if anyone around the Ottawa area knows of someone who can re seal the hatch on a 944?

Mark Motors said they can "seal" it but they wont take it out of the frame and I was hopping for a complete re seal to last for years.

Google "944 rear hatch reseal". Lots of good DIY articles, videos etc. The danger is breaking the glass, which is probably why Mark's isn't interested. Ii would not be worth the profit/risk. It doesn't look like a difficult task, but if you are looking to have someone else do it for you as insurance against screwing up... Well that is probably why they are not interested. ;-)
Put simply, i would do it on my car, but not on yours.

I'm not an expert with glass, and was wondering if there was a shop in the area that has experience doing it..like any specialty area of a car it's finding the right person for the job.

The dealer was concerned about trim breaking not breaking the glass.

When the car gets home from storage I will look into it a bit more. I was just trying to throw out a feeler to see for myself and anyone else who may be looking for a reseal.
