Off to WeTune to give Andrew back his ECU ... i'm just hoping my car will start with mine which is a driveblock unit, otherwise i have to ship it out to ECU Doctors in Florida to have the driveblock disabled.Already spoke with Jorge and he promised a quick TAT should the need arise ...
Still have a small oil leak from the oil pressure switch sender, although the access is good if i remove the right hand side intake stack. At least things look promising from this point on and i certainly hope to be at LCMT at the end of August, possibly with a multicolored car if i don't get my fiberglass bits painted in time !
Cheers

YIPPPEEEE ... my Steve Wong chipped ECU works, although the base idle is fixed a little higher to offset the lightweight flywheel stalling issue !!!
Steve explained to me last week that the driveblock software should not have any effect on my car but i guess that was too much technical mumbo jumbo for me to understand at the time ... lol
Now i can move on to the rest of the car and the ill fitting bumpers headache where the mounting studs for the front and rear will have to be repositioned and reglassed ...
Oh well ... could be worse !
I'll post some pics after i have the fiberglass bumpers and rear decklid fitted !
Cheers folks !

Derek,
I'm not sure how to post a sound video ...
Perhaps someone could guide me through !
Took care of the leak from the oil pressure switch and started glassing in the protective grill for the oil cooler as well as bonding the brake cooling duct extensions to the front bumper last night ... did i ever mention i hate doing fiberglass repairs ???
Cheers

The rear fiberglass decklid is at the painter's and i'm going to spend this lovely weekend in the garage to get the bumpers ready for paint by Monday morning ...
Tomorrow the car is going out naked (brassiere-less) for a ride around the block, regardless !
Need to get some heat in the engine in order to get the rear thermostat to open up and fill the oil lines to the front mounted cooler,i'm sure i can add at least another two liters of oil !
Any tips on adding a sound video ?
Cheers

Problem was one of the DME conversion harness wires was not connected to a proper terminal on the fuse panel ... it needed 12 volts switched AS WELL as 12v while cranking.Where it was connected prior, there was 12v with the ignition on but there wasn't enough voltage while cranking going back to the DME to trigger it !
It was only putting out 5.75 volts whereas the new connection provides 9.8 volts while cranking ...
All is good, just have the body parts to take care of now
I'll try to load a sound video today !
Cheers
