Default Racing seats

I'm thinking of purchasing GT3 or Sparco seats for DE events. I'm in white run group. Do I need a pair or can I forget about the passenger ?

Bob ?

Are you going to change your seat belt? If so, or you will do later on, you may want to go with a pair right away, because if you install yourself a race seatbelt they will require you have the same system for the passenger

Race belt for sure but since I'm alone in the car until I asked to be "promoted" I don't see the point !

The regulation is the following:

driver and passenger (instructor) must have equal restraint systems. If you have race belts and have removed your street belts, the passenger has to have race belts. Race belts must be used in conjunction with race (or pass through) seats. Or you have to leave the stock seat belts for both occupants - while keeping your driver race belts. So when an instructor comes in, as they usually do even in higher run groups, you buckle yourself with your street belts.

Remember that you are not allowed to remove the street belts if you drive on the streets, even if many people are doing it.

Is it clear?

I changed my brand new racing seat in my 997 2009 Cup car (OMP) so I have a carbon seat for sale if you are interested. It is standard size (I had to switch to XL ;o)).
