Default DE Video Camera Mount Options in/dans RSR - No/Pas de Roll Bar?

First DE coming up soon. Any feedback on video camera head mount options acceptable to Rennsport Region for DE's would be appreciated. I have the POV.1 which has a camera head and separate remote recorder. The camera head is the problem since I have no roll bar. I have also heard that suction cup mounts are frowned upon.

Any advice welcome! Tous les conseils seraient apprecies!

last I checked pca rules are camera must be mounted metal to metal so suction cups are not allowed.

Thanks, that's what I suspected.

I think I have found a solution....something called a 'harness bar' that installs fairly easily between the B pillars. A little pricey, but looks like it would provide a solid mount in an ideal location (bullet part of camera would be between and slightly behind front seats at approximately shoulder height).

Good to hear harness bar works.

I would like to try Tremblant but doesn't look like it will be this year.

Quick update....harness bar and video setup installed and ready. The main issue was somehow elevating the video lens about 6 inches above the bar so it can see through the windshield. Those fancy mounts would work, but the bar blew my budget so I rigged something up for about $20. I'll post a picture later. Thanks for advice and suggestions.
