Default Winter tires 997.2 Targa 4S

Been running my Targa4S 2009 in winter since new. Need new winter tires in 235/35-19 and 295/30-19. Nothing available except Sottozero ll which are crap. Sottozero lll are nice but not available in that size.

Might find something to import from Europe, but nothing in North America. Ideas ?

I’d wait a bit, it’s still so early in the season, the new snowtires probably haven’t arrived yet

14 years of Canadian winters. Got any tips for someone that drives their p-car all year round? Always wondered if rust proofing the under carriage helps.

Nothing special. Drive it and wash it regularly. I had a bit a rust on the rear wheel fenders at 12 years. Exactly at the same place both sides. Porsche did accommodate even if warranty was out. Brake lines and AC lines did rusts in part (standard steel), but easy to change. Some suspension noises due to dried out bushings. You fix and drive. Actually quite fun to drive in winter. But I don't use it in the big blizzards. No fun to be had in those conditions.

You have to buy winters early now. In October it is too late. Still found nothing suitable.
