HJC is a good choice for the budget, for sure. I have had two of them, they're great.
An extra pound or two really isn't going to make a difference in any driving with 20 minute sessions unless you are a jellyfish with no neck muscles.
I have a Stilo Carbon $$$ and honestly, it's more bling than strictly functionally better.
PS - if you are willing to measure your melon properly, you can get a good SNELL online from something like Revzilla. I know a few folks that picked up BELL helmets (SA2010) for under $200 which is a really good deal.
