I've thought about going to the Tipec meeting for the NW region which i believe is the first Monday or Wednesday of the month (not this month if Wednesday) as it is in Chorley and i know the area well having grew up there.

Not involved in PCGB as meetings are miles away and have heard that their standards (the club as a whole not the north west region) have fallen away a little.

What about yourselves are you active in the clubs?

Your car looks great thanks for the picture - now i'll keep my eyes open. Here's mine with the stickers off and zymoled again

I may go to the Tipec NW meeting on monday just to see what it's like? I did send an email last year to one of the organisers last year but never got a response.

I live not far from Rawtenstall. It was Simon at Porschapart who suggested i drop in on a PCGB NW meeting but as it is in Garstang it seems a bit of a trek after work especially in the dark!!!

I will try and make it myself then - see what sort of day i have at work, sometimes am tired and stay home with a curry.

I live in Denton, the NW can be a bit of a trek for me especially in the dark - it might be good for me to make an effort this time to see whats being planned ie. drives out etc, roughly 40 miles each way to NW, wheres as when i go to the cheshire and staffs regional meet its only 20 miles each way.

Do you know where they meet ?, dressers arms in wheelton from 8pm or 7pm ish if eating first.

Anyway will try and make it !.

I was just going to turn up as early as possible probably around 7.30 - 8.00pm after I've got home and swapped cars over and got changed.

Once there i think it should be easy to spot the group if not i'll just ask the staff - they must know all of the group by now.

Probably be the same time for me 7.30-8pm.

The room where they have the meet is almost opposite the entrance to the pub, they normally or when i've been there in the past have a board up saying room reserved for porsche club.

Nick,

Sorry but we'll have to meet up another time. Unforeseen work commitments are going to mean i wouldn't get home until at least 8.00pm so it would be 9.30pm before i got to the Dressers. Maybe see you at the next one.
