What would you like to see in the UK???
I am a fellow Brit who now lives in the USA.
In mid January my new Porsche Performance Super Store will be opening here in the North East US.
I would very much like to offer these products to all in the UK. As a Porsche owner in the UK, I know the lack of high quality, user and car friendly, true performance parts available.
In comparison, I will be offering more than 2000 products...... many of which are hand crafted parts!!!
If anyone is interested..... let me know if you would like to see some of these hot items from across the pond for all year and model Porsche.
Is there anything anyone would really like to see???
If there is enough of a response then I will start to make arrangements to make these products available to the UK folks.
I am also going to be running ad's in Porsche 911 World and other UK magazines.
Thanks,
Paul Riddlestone

I am new to Porsche ownreship and have not yet discovered what is and isn't available over here at reasonable prices. I am also just getting to grips with what sort of things are available for Porsche.
Good carpet floor mats in genuine colours would be nice. I haven't found any yet in RHD.
A good source of touchup paint and aerosols at NON Porsche prices.
So far, the bits I have needed I have found in the USA and had shipped quickly and at a good price. A Fuch wheel locking set, Rear wiper motor and a K+N air filter were all obtained far cheaper from the States than I could find here, even after shipping costs.
IMO what we really need the most is for you US guys to ship us over some petrol!!!

I have a 944 N/A 86
I would love to see some polished aluminium parts like gear levers/ handbrake etc is there a manufacturer of cup holders that fit as though they were made for Porsche cars ?
How about an improved central console design without the cassette holder

It sounds like I already have some of the things covered that you are requesting........
I will see what I can do.
O I forgot to mention in my last post...... 'Way to go England Rugby Team, nice jobs boys!!!'
It is a bit of a silent celebration for me here in the US..... no one really knows about or watched Rugby over here.
Well, let me get back to you and I will let you know what I can find.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul
shame about you missing the rugger
If I'd taped it I would send you a copy on DVD.
Do you guys not get SKY over there?
It certainly was nail biting stuff and the winning kick in the very last minute was just unbelievable. Jeez I must have aged 2 years watching that game.

Hi Paul,
All those detailing products that we never knew we needed until we started reading Rennlist... Especially an agent for Zaino would be good.
Cheers,
David

Hey Peanut, I dont know if your console is the same as mine, but the cassette holder can be removed from the 911 console. Makes a handy storage box then. I think (but haven't tried) it may be big enough to hold CD's?

How do you mean ?
Do I take a top off a 911 console and fit it to my944 console ?
The 944 cassette box is really shallow as the cassettes lay almost flat so there is only about 1/14" depth.
I would really like some way of fitting a cup holder in the console as a Surveyor I spend quite a bit of time in the car each day . Some weeks I drive 260 miles a day! Its my office

ok I can try that.
What aew you suggesting to put in its place ? a part from a 911 console ?
or just leave it open ?
I would want something to look as though it was made to fit not just a hole in the console

It should end up looking like a factory console. The cassette holders were, I believe an accessory installed at time of PDI by Main Dealers. So the standard console is without cassette draws.
