Hi - I was searching for info on this shop and found this old post, but no replies.

Does anyone have experience with them? I'm looking for annual maintenance.

Although I'm still using my dealer for service, two indy shops are very active members and sponsors of PCA Citrus Region. It might be worth your time to connect with them and form an impression.

Can we not name them here? I'm not affiliated but I agree on both. I work with the one in Longwood.

Neither have done work on my car (met employees/owners of both and went to one shop for a PCA event) so i didn't feel right naming them and perhaps forgetting someone else within PCA Citrus. They seemed like genuine and enthusiastic Porsche folks.

I welcome anyone with personal experience to list their thoughts.

OK here are the shops I know of and what I know about them:

Drivers Choice Motors - great indy, I use them and attend their track events. Quality shop owned by guys (well, 1 retired, just 1 left now) who own and track Porsches.

German Excellence - I have not used but know the manager/owner from the club and she's great. Sponsor of local autocross events.

Zotz Racing - track/race focused shop and the current owner Ron is a long time instructor/coach. He does open houses every so often which are a great way to see what they're up to. LONG time Porsche racing folks.

Flat 6 Motorsports in Sanford - no experience with them but they definitely do mods and have some content on YT. Cannot vouch for them personally.

+1 for DCM! Highly recommend. They do the more complex stuff on my 991.

+1 for GE but only used them once for tidy up work on my previous 944 engine.

Thanks for the recommendations fellas! I'll be saving for future reference. I still go to WTF Motorsports for all my BMW needs, and been noticing he's doing work on Porsches these days too (not sure if he always has, I just notice em' more now I suppose) so will also discuss with him too. I wouldn't trust my F80 M3 with anyone else.
