Default 928 S4 Maintenance South Fla.

Is there any reliable Porsche Maint Shop in the Boca to Miami area that can perform maintenance to my 91 928 S4 ?

My passenger side window is inop and won't go down or up.
Could be the switch in the console or other connectors dirty or broken.

Do not trust Champion on having an experienced 928 trained and reliable tech who knows what he is doing. At $150/hr this could get out oh hand. The PO had all work done in Sarasota area by a certified Porsche shop at $80/hr. Too far to drive, but that may be my last resort on anything major. I have all his Maint bills done to the vehicle this year. Car is running great at this time.

Thx,
Jerry ( Ft. Lauderdale )

Default Porsche 928 repair / maintenance

Any luck with the repairs? Did you end up finding a good shop? I'm going to be down there to have my 928 worked on next week, and I am thinking of going to Svoboda Motorsport in Miami. Heard anything good/bad?

Hey GeoJerry... my name is Ted and my shop, All Import Car Repair, handles all manner of import vehicles. We may work on all import vehicles, especially European Imports, but we specialize in Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari/Maserati, Aston Martin & Bentley/Rolls-Royce. We are very familiar with all of the complex systems in your later V-8 Porsche and we would be delighted to help in anyway we can. We've been serving the Palm Beach County automotive community for over 20 years and we've maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau all along the way. "Like" us on Facebook @ www.facebook.com/allimportcarrepair to see some of our customers' cars and some of the work we do. If you happen to be in the area, Lake Worth, stop by and let us show you exactly what we can do for you.

Gulf performance is well reputable. But I'd say that mostly anyone can replace a bad motor or switch (even I did on mine), you might have to help them to get the parts (one of the big three)
