Driving my 993 to Titusville this Friday, 9-16-2011
This Friday I will be driving my 1996 993 to it's new home in Florida from Virginia. I love a road trip!!!!
Starting in 2012, I plan to get involved with the P-car people and events, espically AutoX and DE. I want to get my wife into AutoX too and share the fun.
People who visit the 993 forum may know this car from when the roof was crushed in by a switch failure on my car lift. The thread; My Sad, Sad Fraiday... many pictures and comments. There is another thread called The rebirth (I think) as it has been a few years ago now.
Here are some pix. There is one with me at the 2010 Porsche Parade where my car won first place in Performance Touring Concours.
Hope to meet many of you soon.

Never saw that thread on 993 forum, nor could find it now? but regardless, welcome, that's a cool looking 993, love the wheels, great color combo. Gold wheels on a red Porsche always work.

By the way, the drive to FL went well, no issues or problems. Left Front Royal, VA at 5:30 am and arrived at my house in Titusville twelve hours and fifteen minutes later.
