The car is now at Orbit for oils and filter change, bleed brakes, safelty check, new LSD specs, updated hats for PFC rotors, new Cup lip, paint center front bumper, new wheels, mirrors, wing tips, 3 small GT3RS decals (2x ala GT2RS), new Clear wrap (XPEL installed by Supershield in Boca) new seat belts and door pulls.

If it is done I will come down to finally drive it again

With only a few days to go before our drive, I wanted to remind everyone of a few things:

Do yourself and subsequently the entire group a favor and either perform or have someone do a tech inspection. In other words, check the basics;

1) Tires
2) Oil
3) Brakes
4) Coolant
*For Flying Finn*- CHECK YOUR BELTS

On another note we have until 8:00 Friday night to give the Marriott our final headcount, so if you're on the fence keep in mind that you have until Friday night 8:00 to let us know.

I was talking to one of our brothers, who shall not be named lest we all smack him in the back of his head. He was concerned about it raining on Saturday. It seems waterspots give him hives.

Seriously???

Dude, it is a car, Hold, it is a PORSCHE, made to overcome all challenges the gods and DOT can throw at it. If it gets wet, who cares?? These cars thrive on conditions that would make a a KIA wet its panties, not to mention throw a Corvette or a Lame-bo into conniptions.

Take it out, get it wet, enjoy it.

Sheeesh.

Now that I think about it, that's actually good advice for most of our toys.

I will be there, rain or shine.

No to say my car will be ready, but one can hope.

I never drive mine in the rain. My custom brake scoops might spray water and rust the rotors.
I'll be watching the radar or slalom through the rain drops.

If you drive it hard enough, those rotors won't stay rusty for long.

My V1 is equipped with the optional rain-drop avoidance feature.

Cars are meant to be driven...unless of course it's having some work done, like in Reter's case.

Nevertheless drive the **** out of them!
