Here are some vids. Juan was waaaay out front (even after two re-starts) when the race was black-flagged for some reason .

Great weather and a great collections of cars.:

Pretty cool Danny O !!!

I had a hoot. i think that a lot of drivers were taken by surprise when my little car flew by them.

I won both Sprints overall and on the combined enduro I finished 4th by 0.4 secs (still 1st in class).

Hope you had fun. Cheers! Juan

From what I saw, it wasn't a fair fight. I could only guess the other driver's insist you have a thorough technical inspection afterward...

P.S. - Why did they black flag that race (Sat)?

Saturday we had a lot of cars parked around the track. One on T1, one on T5, one right after the hairpin, another one on T9, T10 and one outside of Bishop's which dumped a ton of oil or coolant on the racing line. We also had a lot of oil on the racing line on T10.

Not to mention that there was a big snafu on the carrousel on the 1st lap which caused the restart.

My car could actually be lighter and still be legal for the class !

I don't think that's a good idea (to go faster)...it would be a similar situation to the High School basketball team that recently beat the other team by 138 points.

It's ok to go faster . The graphics are certified to stay on at the high speeds achieved at Daytona All in all , the race on the rain at Watkins Glen is your best in my book .

We'll bring a snorkel next time.... 2 hour enduro under a constant downpour. That was a very cool win.
