Speaking of Winterfest, we still need Control Boats, if you want the best view of the parade. If you're interested, let me know.
I'm on the Board of Directors of Winterfest, and in charge of arranging for control boats along the parade route.
If you don't know what Winterfest is, it's the largest boat parade in the world. running from it's starting point at the Riverside hotel on Ft lauderdale's new River, up the ICW to Pompano. You can watch it on comcast or wsvn, or grab a chunk of seawall along the route.

I've been getting a bunch of emails /pms about the dates also.
When the hotel gets back to me with availability,
I think Im gonna post a poll with a few dates and take it from there.

Well after wranging back an forth with the hotel / members / pca we finally have a firm date...
Jan. 15, 2010.
This is it boys...firm and no changes.
So make your plans for this date.
The hotel room rate is a bit more for this date as they consider it "season".
I will make the official announcement with room rates and a link to our special
rate booking site. Also the breakfast buffet price as well.
Look for this info about mid november.

steve i'm down for january 15th. glad you didnt do it the 8th! i wouldn't have been able to make it.
looking forward to it. lets hope the change of date keeps the Hi Po confused and they don't show up at the Snapper Creek again and ruin a couple ppl's morning.....
