Even though I go every once in a while, there is usually no Porsche car presence there.
This would be a good idea if we can get others interested.
We can request our own section depending on the amount of P-cars.

We went on several occasions and it was ok. As Rico said it's better if you can get a group to go.

If you enjoy the "ricer" or the knuckle-dragger crowd, Tower Shoppes is for you!

Actually, my 911 has a bigger wing than my NSX..but you wouldn't catch me at Tower Shoppes with either.

Guaranteed no rice/knuckle draggers here: http://www.cavallino.com/classic.html

If I recall correctly, those red cars were run out of overall Le Mans contention by Knuckle draggers at Ford. Four consecutive wins and a limit on overall capacity for engines. Take a look at these times for my Tower Shoppes car: Not bad at barely more than 2 seconds 60-100. Way faster than even a Carrera GT. With a better launch I might be under 7 seconds....To 100mph.

You live in S Florida, right? What turn? There are no turns. And there's this new thing called Pro-touring. These cars ARE set up to turn. Check it out here:

http://www.lateral-g.net/

The point is even the cars we buy today will be considered knuckle draggers one day. I like these older cars, it takes me back to older times. And the guys and girls that go to the Tower Shoppes like cars, even Porsches.

Not a 327. Take a look at this 1 mile top speed run. In this body style..... you do the math. GPS and time trap verified. Respect due.

Always liked the Pontiacs from late 60's and early 70's. Shame they had to go away.

What track permits a 183mph run without a cage/rollbar? Fire supression? Emergency shut-off? Wheelie bars?

Please post some more detailed pics of your set-up...
