Ringling museum is great,its in Sarasota...nearby.... other than that it could not be more of a boring place.

I have been there before and it is AWESOME. I thought it was closed to the public however. Thanks for the other ideas guys, I will look into them all!

Also, what is the local PCA region down there? Maybe they are having an event!

I'm there racing the old screamer. FlyinFinn has been there and can tell you about the quality and quantity of cars that come in.

Do go to Sanibel and or Captiva. Nothing like a sunset there.

Also the local PCA club Gold Coast region is having a AutoX at the Bank Atlantic Center on the 24th of Feb. it's about 1:40 minutes south from Ft. Myers

They are not having an event when you will be down but for others to check out. The autocross is run on the south runway of the buckingham airfield, the course is over a mile, much more fun than a parking lot.
