Default August run to Lake Worth

There's a waterfront restaurant in Lake Worth (on the inlet). Anyone up for a lunch run in August? It's A/Ced, so thta's a big selling point (it is still too hot to do Alabama Jack's).

We can come up from Broward/Dade and it's an easy romp for those in the WPB area.

As for dates, what works for you?

No, but that would work, too. What destination do you suggest?

Sailfish parking is horrible.Tight spaces...generally only eat there when im at peanut island with the boat. Theres a bar-restaurant further up the intracoastal on the west side..got a good reggae band...bout another 5 miles north of riviera beach....cant remeber the name. There is a good bar-restaurant in pompano with great parking called Galupes. Its on a public golf course.Lots of shade trees and outstanding parking.

I'll be up for either location, assuming we roll before 8/16...

8/11 works for me - I have an 8am at Champion for an oil change, so I'll be ready for lunch afterwards. Lunch in Pompano would be a breeze. Good parking is a big plus.

8/11 is good here (weather depending). I can meet @ Champion. It's only a mile from my shop.

Ok. I'm guessing I'll get my car back by 11am.
Is Galupes on the public golf course off US1 by the executive airport?
Are we looking to all meet there at noon? 11:30?

The restaurant is called "Galuppi's" and it is on the golf course near the Pompano Airpark (US1 between 10th & 12th). To avoid confusion for others who might try to find the place, the Executive Airport is on Cypress Creek near Powerline...don't go there.

Here's the Google Maps link:

So, we've got 4 cars so far. Hmmm. Quite a distinguished, exclusive group. Good looking, too.

My 996 just may be wearing her new bra - usually reserved for road trips. (I hate rock chips)
The Werewife will be there, so expect rowdy conversation.

Hey...speak for yourself.

I'm trying to get a friend from Lake Worth to bring his SC out, but he's always flaked-out in the past.

So, we're meeting @ Galuppi's @ noon?

Galuppi's was great. Thanks to the 12 Hooter's Girls that were there - you were wonderful!

We're looking at Manalapan for a run in 2-3 weeks. Skip it and who knows what you'll miss?
