After getting a quote of $3000 for my 22BGTS with 1800 miles I am looking for a independent service shop in the Boca Raton area can anyone recommend a shop.....thanks

I use TuneRS in Coral Springs for maintenance and they seem to do a good job

 

That does seem high. Are they recommending spark plugs this soon? Those are usually 4 years or much much higher mileage (and I question whether 4 years actually matters or not after DIY'ing mine and inspecting the plugs). Otherwise I struggle to see how you'd get to $3000.

 

KMW Motorsports... Pretty well known and respected, especially with Porsche. They were in Boca forever but now in Pompano on Dixie and Sample.

 

Have you checked their quote against the Porsche maintenance schedule? Are they recommending things you don't need or is their price just super high? The latter isn't out of question but the 2-3 year larger services don't come cheap on these cars.
