Werks Reunion Amelia Island 2019
It's that time again and we are just a few short months away from Werks Reunion at Amelia Island. Anyone attending? I will be traveling up from Tampa, FL with a group of 17 friends to attend the entire Amelia Island event. Most of us will attend/participate in Werks on Friday March 8th and also Amelia Island Cars & Coffee on Saturday March 9th.
If you aren't aware of these events here are a few links to check out. I am just an attendee and am not affiliated with these events.

Great John, you won't regret it This is my 3rd year going and I plan to attend yearly now. I will post more information as we near the event. Being that I am going with a large group we may end up trying to plan a dinner or something while there. If we do, I will send out an invite.

First timer here too. Going to head up on Friday.
Anyone going to be there with a 997 that I can test sit for a minute?
I'm 6'9 and it's been hard to find a 997 to try out. I know that 996s are a no go, but 991s and a 2015 caymen GTS with 18 ways work.

I live in St. Pete and am registered for both Werks and C&C. When and Where is your group driving from? I wouldn't mind being part of a caravan if the timing was right.
I plan on leaving mid morning on Thursday.

It's a Friday event

Late registration is $70, if they will still let you register. There is a link showing Porsches registered for Concours, and Porsches registered for the Corral.
Is a blast just to be there and see all the fine Porsches.
On Saturday, there is a Festivals of Speed Car Show, from 10:00 to 4:00 at the Omni with lots of Porsches, other sportcars, and exotics. General Admission is $20

Sorry to bring this post back from the past, but how was the Werks renunion and cars and coffee?
I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make a trip out of this. Opinions of Cars and Coffee the Sat before vs. the Festivals of Speed event?

The Amelia Island events are great Werks has grown each year and getting some great cars out for the Werks display area and the corral parking has a bunch of great cars also. 2020 will be at a new location so we will see how that works out. The Festival of Speed events are great also I always attend the St. Pete event this year it is in January so should be a little cooler some great cars and motorcycles there and we have a nice Porsche display in the circle on some great grass.
i do both every year and always have a great time.
