Default Ripped off - Anyone else ?

A local shop in the Fort Lauderdale area - charged me for parts that I later discovered were not installed..

Lawsuit commenced.....

Wont mention the shop by name until the Lawsuit is done

Anyone else have similar issues in the area - please PM me ...

giving them a chance to make it right before outing them on the forums.... will show all the pictures and evidence so everyone can see ...

Its a shame you put trust in someone.... charging for expensive parts and not putting them in is really a low blow ...

My guess is that I am not the first so if anyone suspects they were ripped off in fort laud area please let me know as the court case is moving forward

99% chance my cars have passed thru the garage doors of whomever the scumbag may be; it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I hope it ends well for OP.

Default Porsche mechanic Broward county

Sorry about your troubles. Try Stokes automotive in west park fla near Miramar.. I used him once for my 2014 cab so far with good results and my close buddy has 2 Porsche’s 1978 and 2004 maintained by him over 10 years and swears by them. I am a layer so keep us posted. Use the deceptive an$ unfair trade practices act so you can sue for fees too!

Any updates? Wouldn't mind hearing who this is, as I have some friends in that area with P-cars.

sure it..... guess they assumed selling me "internal" parts and related labor was an easy lie ...

That is until the original part later fails and I discover the work was never done..

BTW nothing resolved yet....

On the east coast of florida I use Orbit and BGB. Both are very honest and trustworthy.

The only "Porsche certified bodyshop" in the area...which I guess we won't name but is in Fort Laud / Pompano area screwed up multiple times on my car and it was a disastrous experience through and through...I just PMed the OP because it would not surprise me if its the same shop...
