Me too, my friend.... I requested the access I had to the servers that I once had from 1998 to 2010 (when I programmed and ran this site from my office) - and throw up my code changes for Rennlist - and look at any "BETA" code from IB that I can review and change... So far?

I have exactly what you have...

Nothing...

So - hang tight for a bit, OK??

Since it's now a pain go back to the forum list page and scroll down to switch between forums, I just keep multiple forums up in different windows. It works but if everybody does it IB's overhead is going to go way up.

My sincerest thanks! Honestly? I'm now on IBs development server - and they are making some "kick-***" changes. Will the old "menu" be back? Nope.. But will there be a better menu system? I think so..

Sooo - hang on a bit for all that, OK???

During this time - I'll ask you to please remember that Rennlist does NOT sit across numerous servers sitting about three feet away from where I am typing this message. Rather - the IB Server sits about 3000 miles away from where I'm typing this

So - anyway - hang tight.. What IB and I are trying to do is make any changes "look like the Rennlist legacy" with improvements to the core code, while - at the same time - make improvements to the legacy code - which, well - is difficult to "migrate".. (Remember - this site ran across over a half-dozen servers?!! )

For all that? This will be an "evolution" of a feature set, and that's OK. Please just bear with me and IB while we both try to reconcile all this, OK? Will we get it "right" the first time around? Probably not.. But, then again - since '98 - how many times did I get "it right the first time"?? It's why folks "faxed me beers" every once in a while

I know the feeling - BUT - I can see some of the changes they are making - and I think you'll like them..! Anyway - please, just remember - it's not "me" making the changes at the servers/code as it used to be - as IB has a team.. And decisions/programming take a bit longer, I guess???

Anyway - it's not like it was previously way back - when I'd close down the servers, and folks would "FAX me beers" through the night as I programmed...?

Anyway - hang in there, OK?? And my best to you!

I also used the block menu, but found it both useful and frustrating. I would be happy to help test the beta site if you still need guinea pigs.

FWIW, when the new "menu" came up I got aggravated like some others, so after checking my Chrome settings thinking something may be wrong there, found nothing so I checked the site with Firefox and low and behold the "old menu" with side bar came up. For some reason the old is still functioning on firefox. Don't know why, but it is.

You have firefox set to not check for updates every visit to websites so it is using a cached (false) version of the page that no longer exists except on your computer.
