can someone explain user messages?
Can someone please explain visitor messages to me? If I go under User CP and then click "Your Profile" in the control panel I see visitor messages. How are they different from private messages?
Also, if I click on the user's name that sent me a visitor message I see messages he sent to other people before I even joined Rennlist. If I click on one of those user's names I see even more messages for other people.
I am very confused by this. Thanks.

Visitor messages are public messages viewable by anyone who clicks on a user's/member's profile. Even unregistered and unlogged users can see them.
By clicking the "view conversation" on the bottom of a message, you can read a public conversation exchanged between two members in the form of messages.
Private messages are.. well..private. Only you and the recipient(s) may read them.

Thank you very much. That makes sense.
