How do I change the title of my own previously created thread?

Just us the 'edit' feature in the lower right corner of the post. The title will be accessible in the edit pane.
However, there appears to be a time limit to editing the title--after a while, if you try to edit the title, it changes it in the first post, but not when viewing the entire forum. I don't know what that time limit is set to.
