Using the Quote
I have attempted to quote other posts on a thread but after trying everything I could think of - no luck. Either my ignorance or something isn't working for me.

OK, Warren...
Fine the post you want to quote and click on the quotation marks symbol at the bottom. right of that post.
A reply box will pop up including the quote. It's really as simple as that but, if you want to 'edit' the quote, just make sure it starts with '['QUOTE=somebody]' and ends in '[/QUOTE']'.
e.g. to quote your post above, it should read
'['QUOTE=whall]I have attempted to quote other posts on a thread but after trying everything I could think of - no luck. Either my ignorance or something isn't working for me.

That's without all the ' marks, of course, I put those in to stop it displaying the way it normally would.
