New user that messaged me appears to be a scammer
I was messaged by user Ghatsale saying that someone named "cotton" has the parts that I am looking for.
On July 5th they posted in the new member welcome forum stating they are getting their first Porsche:
"Hi everyone, Have followed this forum for a long time and very appreciative by all of the great knowledge and insights on everything Porsche. Long time P enthusiast and soon to become a first time Porsche owner. Just received an allocation for a PTS Targa that locks on July 18th. Hoping to get some insights for a few of the specs and some opinions on color as my first PTS+ request was denied and trying to decide on the paint color. Look forward to interacting with you all."
But also posted the following on the same day:
"Hello everyone Currently own a 84 and 90 928. Looking forward to meeting the awesome members on here and learning and sharing tech tips. Thanks for a very nice and resourceful forum"
and this:
"hello i came here with good news who own 944 944 turbowill see me on market place"
and this:
"Love sports cars, history includes s2000, ISF, currently G83 M4. Looking to buy a porsche next so just starting out my journey and learning as much as possible"
and this:
"Just recently purchased my first Porsche, a 2018 Macan Turbo. Really enjoying it though I aspire to own a 911 one day."
