Photos won't process beyond 90%

When I try to add a photo to my listing, no matter how small I make the JPG file, it will only process to 90% and then stops...preventing the photo from uploading. Thank you for any help with this.

are you trying to upload images that are .webp ? are you using a VPN like expressVPN?

Thank you, but standard JPEG (taken from my Samsung Galaxie), and no to a VPN...at least I don't think so

Just tried...counts quickly to 90% then stops...
