Nope, they don't consider this broken. I mean. When something is done, they have nothing to do, Break/fix is easy. "Hey Joe, it's broken, fix it" Don't need many managers for that.

So nothing is ever done. Have to appear to be progressing, so add stuff, change stuff whatever. NO concept of don't change anything unless it objectively makes things better. And changing things in the back end, like faster DB queries, or a search function that doesn't blow donkeys, isn't in your face enough. So no attaboys for that.

They essentially want to say "I led the change to interface 2.b5 managing blah blah blah>"

Here's a glaring example of one where i used to work.

When calling in, the phone tree menu had one step. Press 1 for Software, press 2 for hardware.

After many strategy and planning meetings they made a change.

Press 1 for hardware, press 2 for software.

Now obviously there is no way such a thing can improve anything. But they can fluff it up and obfuscate it on memos to make it look like your doing something.

Meanwhile all the customers who were long time callers and had the menu memorized... well they just get to the wrong department all the time.

Oh and if they want to make an improvement. Rather than forcing whatever crappy font you think is best on people that could have a different opinion. Just allow us to set what font we want to use.

And who in the hell makes such a drastic change between the font you input in the message window, and what is then displayed? Where do you even think that's the way to do something?

Good thing IB doesn't design cars. The steering wheel would be on the roof and the ignition would be in the trunk.

I too can only get this abomination of 'next gen' or next 'gen 2.0', and I want the standard option back. When I tried the 'next gen 2.0' it was also missing the posting section at the end to allow me to post !!! Seems like this is someones plaything.

Simple question I'd like answered by whoever is experimenting, when it's quite clear that the majority here think this is a clusterfvck ... why?

Edit: Now I'm getting ads mid thread between posts .... ... perhaps that's why ... hmmm.

Edit: Now, five minutes later, I'm not getting those ads .... next ....
