Seems IMG source link are getting automatically converted to attachments.

Is this new functionality?

If so this is scary on many levels.

 

I'm noticing this as well. It causes a duplication of the image.

I even tried to remove the attachment to keep the [img] tags in the post and the url was converted to a Rennlist attachment url.

What's up with this?

 

Just saw that also. Seems IB has figured out how to take ownership of images we've linked in. This is not going to be something I support.

I'm hoping it's not the case. I would be very unhappy as well.

 

I guess I'm just going to stop linking my pictures or uploading period. I take all my repair pictures via my blackberry and load them directly to facebook, and then link them here. IB is apparently trying to gobble up as much intellectual property as they can, this just seems another way of saying that if we post it here, it's theirs.

I'm going to send another nasty message to Sterling for screwing the rest of us with his damn tantrums.

 

It looks like it has been fixed now.
