I often have a need to search through all the forums. However, the current search page forces me to select a specific forum. So if I want to search all the forums I have to keep going back a selecting a different forum once I have finished perusing the results. Am I just missing it? Is there are a way to search <all> forums?

This issue has been raised in the past. Actually, I asked the same question a few months ago. John D. said he would consider adding that capability but that it uses way too much system resources as the database being searched would be exponentially larger. Consider that many people would resort to that option all the time for convenience, hence bogging down the server. Maybe that option could be available for members only.
