Text width and screen size
Sometimes when someone posts a photo, it stretches the screen out to the point that the horiz scroll bars appear (in IE, using 1024X768).
This is not a problem with the photo, but rather with the fact that all the text-only posts also get resized to wider than the window. One is required, then, to use the horiz. scroll in order to read the posts. This is rather annoying.
For example:

Can this be, uh, fixed?

that's all on one page for me. maybe you need to set your monitor resolution a bit higher. or get a bigger monitor...

Hmm...didn't change a thing at this end, and now it looks OK.
I had seen this elsewhere on this board or I wouldn't have said anything. I'll try to find another example to whine about.

yeah, you just had a bad example. but you're right, some people don't know to reduce their picture size when they post their 1.4 meg .jpg which takes up a page and a half and there's only one little car in the center.
it's called resize and crop people...

Well, my real complaint was that the text gets resized with the width of the photo.
It would be nice if regardless of the picture size, that the text width remain fixed.

not gonna happen. without carriage returns, the text will take the whole window width, which obviously can get wider with the picture in it.
