How do I post pictures?
I believe that I have at the least average intelligence and a moderate understanding of technology.
I have not been able to add a picture to my signature, avatar, or in message replies. I tried loading directly from my pictures, website URL, photo bucket ( even resized the photos) and all I get is an error message every time that the photo is too big.
Why oh why?
Oh yeah I finally found a 993 to add to my collection which I would be happy to share pictures of but......

I am not sure about Photobucket as I use Picassa. I just resize and export the picture to a folder on my desktop. Then:
Click "Go Advanced"
Type your message
Click "Manage Attachments"
Click "Browse"
select your picture file (either 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 is good and under 140 kb)
Click "Upload"
Click "Close this window"
Click "Submit Reply"
Click "Go Advanced"
Type your message
Click "Manage Attachments"
Click "Browse"

Click "Upload"
Click "Close this window"
Click "Submit Reply"

To deal with photos that are too large (if you're using a PC), go to Microsoft's website and look for PowerToys. Download the program and install. After you do this, right-click and then choose the size you want. Large or medium will work well for Rennlist's restrictions.
If you're on Windows 7, there is a PowerToys program for that OS.
You can also click on this weird, cnet link and go directly to the program:

I'm an HTML geek and have my own server space, etc. But I find Flickr makes it super simple.
You can click on a picture, hit the "share" button and it automatically creates the HTML or BB code for you (use BBCode for this forum). So you just cut and paste here on the forum. Super simple.
