I'm sorry, I'm not entirely sure what your problem is.
Could you explain a little bit further, and i'd be more than happy to help you out.
cheers,
robb

Hi,
I didn't explain that very well did I.
I want to update one of my posts, posted 09-13-2010 titled, Auto not shifting into top until I come of the gas.
In the title of the thread I want to add "Update" add new text to the body and repost.
I tried using the edit button in the orginal post and the save button but I wasn't sure what I was doing.
Hope that makes more sense.
Ivan.

Hi Ivan,
If you created the thread, you should be able to update the title, by editing the first post in the thread, and include the title change.
If it's been more than 525600 minutes since post, it will only change the title of the first post, not the actual threat title in the forumdisplay.
If you can link me to your thread, I can take a look and edit it if it's outside the window in which you can.
cheers,
robb

Hi Robb,
I went back to when I posted my thread but can't see it on the day I posted it, however,
I did save a short cut to the thread on my desktop (Below) and when using this to view the thread, my original post as been updated but it never appeared on the list.
Should I just start a new thread.
Thanks for all your help.

Hi Ivan,
I think I understand the confusion. Updating a post by editing it, will not bump it to the top of the list. I would suggest making another post in the same thread, that outlines your updates. That will bump teh thread to the top of the list, so that members can see what you've done.
Let me know if I got this wrong, but I think that is the confusion.
cheers,
robb
