I have to agree that all porsche forums are slower than others. I use to be frequently on bimmerforums.com which if you post a tread, that tread will be on page 2 by the end of the hour.

I think porsche forum are slow due to most of porsche owners do not fix their cars themselves which is a bummer for me because I am all about dyi!

Are you talking about the loading speed of the site?
If you are, then I agree, rennlist has been slow lately, sometimes pages would stick for a while before loading.

If you are talking about the activity on the site being slow...then NO...rennlist is one of the busiest sites that I frequent.
In fact, rennlist is even more active than 6speed, and far more active than the other BMW forums that I still hang out on.
And I am on at least 8 different forums on a daily basis.

In case you haven't noticed, John D. has been loading a software upgrade. You can now select multiple posts to quote and the look is slightly different with the boxes arounf the posts. There are are some additional features that I have not tried out yet. I believe John has had to take the site down a couple of times in the past few days for minor corrections. It is not a slow as it was about a month ago.

Definitely noticed the minor upgrade to look and feel of the site. Subtle, but appreciated.

Yeah, I noticed the upgrade. I like how you can "mark all post read" without having the page reload.
However, I must say it did have some glitches there, one time it didn't want to refresh at the click of that button.

I see that "multi quote" feature, but haven't explored that yet.
And I hate the "edited" note that automatically inserts in your post when you edit.
